The 2021 BMW X7 is a big and roomy SUV with a lot to offer local drivers. In fact, while we may be a bit biased here at BMW of Peabody, we think that this new BMW model has no problem standing up to competing models, like the 2021 Volvo XC90. This BMW SUV impresses in many ways.
Interior Space
Both of these models are three-row SUVs with plenty of seating, but we think that the 2021 BMW X7 should appeal to drivers who are looking for more interior space. The BMW model offers an additional three inches of front headroom and 2.3 extra inches of front shoulder room. The passengers get a bit more space too, with 1.6 inches of extra second-row shoulder room and 1.4 inches of extra second-row headroom.
That’s great for passengers, but if you’re looking for cargo room the 2021 BMW X7 delivers too. It offers up to 90.4 cubic feet of cargo room with the seats folded down. The 2021 Volvo XC90 maxes out at just 65.5 cubic feet of space.
Performance
Both of these SUVs offer multiple engine options, but the most powerful 2021 BMW X7 model wins out over the most powerful 2021 Volvo XC90. The BMW model maxes out at 612 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, while the Volvo SUV puts out a maximum of 472 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Both are luxurious SUVs, but if you’re really looking for a performance SUV, the choice is obvious.
