From a program for members of the military to one designed for college students and regular, ongoing promotions, the BMW brand does whatever it can to help people realize their dream of owning a premium vehicle.
While we’re proud of the car maker’s sales programs and specials, we’re just as proud that the BMW brand makes the vehicles we sell accessible to people who have challenges that can make driving an automobile difficult if not impossible. The BMW Mobility Program was created to provide financial assistance to people who need to modify a BMW vehicle in order to drive it.
If you buy or lease a new or certified pre-owned BMW car from us and need adaptive equipment to operate your vehicle, you may qualify for a one-time reimbursement of up to $2,500 for the expenses you incur to modify your car. The modifications must be completed before your New Vehicle Limited Warranty or your Certified Pre-Owned BMW Warranty expires. The New Vehicle Limited Warranty expires at the earlier of four years or 50,000 miles and the CPO Warranty runs out after six years or 100,000 miles.
To qualify for the BMW Mobility Program, you must submit a claim via email to [email protected] or fax to 201-930-8484. You’ll have to provide a copy of the lease or purchase contract you have from an authorized BMW dealership like our BMW dealership near Lynnfield, MA. You’ll also have to provide a copy of the driver’s license, a doctor’s note, and a copy of the invoice that lists the modifications that were made to your vehicle. It’s important to note that the modified vehicle must be registered and operated by the motorist the car was modified for.
