When you visit our Massachusetts BMW dealership, you’ll see that we have a generous selection of 2017 BMW models. You’ll also notice that some 2018 BMW cars are starting to arrive at our convenient location.

While it’s not here just yet, we’re excited that the 2018 BMW X3 will be added to our new car inventory in the fall of this year. The BMW X3 was fully redesigned for the 2018 model-year and it has a full suite of standard and available technology and advanced driver assistive features.

The 2018 BMW X3 will be available in two trims, the xDrive30i and the M40i. These models are largely distinguishable by their engines. The base model is powered by a turbocharged two-liter, four-cylinder engine and the top-of-the-line trim is equipped with a more powerful, turbocharged three-liter, six-cylinder engine. Every 2018 BMW X3 will have an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

The cabin in the new BMW X3 resembles the one its predecessor has, but a new steering wheel design and more aluminum buttons and trim make the cabin livelier. The 2018 BMW X3 boasts a new 10.3-inch touchscreen that sits atop the car’s central stack instead of being integrated into the dashboard. The touchscreen supports navigation as well as gesture controls.

Some of the available technology features you can add to your 2018 BMW X3 include Apple CarPlay connectivity, a WiFi hotspot, and a central display. If you want your car to have advanced safety features, you can add a blind spot monitor, a front and rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control that has automated steering for when you’re traveling at low speeds. If you’re connected and use an Apple Watch or an Amazon Echo, you can even control certain vehicle functions using your device.

As BMW dealers serving Burlington, MA and nearby communities, we can’t wait for the new BMW X3 to arrive at our BMW dealership. To learn more about this much-anticipated BMW car or any of the other BMW models we have at our location, visit BMW of Peabody on Andover Street now!
