The 2020 BMW 5 Series is made up of a diverse lineup of trim variants that provide some truly game-changing performance. When you visit our dealership to purchase the BMW 5 Series, you’ll be given the option of four different models, the 530i, the 530e, the 540i, and the racetrack worthy M550i. There is also a 530e plug-in model, which sports an all-wheel-drivetrain, and with the four-cylinder and electric motor gives drivers around 248 horsepower to play around with.
In terms of engine build, the 2020 BMW 5 Series launches off the gate with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that throws out 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft worth of torque. This same engine model is pretty slim, consuming only 25 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. An 8-speed automatic transmission can be found on base models, which matches the performance of the four-cylinder engine.
