That’s about to change, however. The BMW brand has announced that the all-new BMW X2 and the 2019 BMW i8 Coupe will make their global debuts at the 2018 North American International Auto Show. The press conference that will introduce these exciting BMW models to the world will begin at 9:35am EST on Monday, January 15, 2018. This press conference will be held at the BMW stand in the COBO Center in Detroit, MI.
The 2018 BMW X2 is the newest addition to the BMW X lineup. This vehicle is equipped with a cutting-edge two-liter, four-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo engine that generates 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This thrilling vehicle is expected to arrive in BMW dealerships throughout the nation in the spring of next year.
Not to be outdone, the hybrid BMW i8 Coupe is powered by an engine that works with an electric motor to produce 369 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. This clever, great-looking hybrid is scheduled to arrive in BMW dealerships in the spring of 2018.
