As BMW dealers, we always get excited when vehicles from a new model-year start arriving at our BMW dealership. As you know from recent blog posts, the 2018 BMW X4 and the 2018 BMW 430i Gran Coupe have already arrived at our convenient location. While it hasn’t gotten here just yet, we’re confident the 2018 BMW 3 Series will be one of the most popular BMW models in our new car inventory once it arrives at our BMW dealership.

With that in mind, we thought it would be a good idea to give you a preview of what’s new on the 2018 BMW 3 Series. One of the most significant changes you’ll notice on all of the 2018 BMW 3 Series models is that a rearview camera and LED headlights are now standard equipment. Another change is that the current version of iDrive now has an available touchscreen as an alternative to the standard knob control and buttons located on the console.

Another noticeable change on the 2018 BMW 3 Series is the availability of a new Shadow Sport Edition, which is available on the following trims: 328d, 330e, 330i, and 340i. The Shadow Sport Edition includes 18-inch black wheels, darker headlight and taillight accents, and a steering wheel that’s wrapped in leather and easier to grip. The M Sport Package now comes with new 19-inch wheels and darker trim.

Yet another change is that ConnectedDrive Services, which used to be called “BMW Online” and “BMW Apps,” is now standard on the 2018 BMW 3 Series. The BMW brand also made some changes to the options packages that the new BMW 3 Series is eligible for and the automaker has made additional features available as individual options.

While the 2018 BMW 3 Series isn’t here yet, the vehicle is expected to arrive at our BMW dealership near Burlington, MA later this summer. If you want to learn more about this exciting BMW model before it arrives at our location, contact BMW of Peabody or visit our BMW dealership today!
